Deriv adds 400 global stocks to MT5, launches extended hours trading on 21 leading US stocks

Company

Cyberjaya, Malaysia, 12 December 2025 – Deriv announced a significant expansion of stock CFDs on Deriv MT5, adding 400 new global stocks for regular-session trading and introducing extended hours trading on 21 leading US stocks. The move advances Deriv’s mission to make trading accessible for anyone, anywhere and at any time, democratising access with more markets, more hours, and the familiar MT5 experience traders know and trust.

Expanded global stock CFDs with 400 new additions

Two distinct enhancements are now live. First, clients can access 400 additional global stocks across multiple sectors and regions during standard market hours to empower meaningful portfolio diversification. Second, 21 major US stocks are now available for extended hours trading on weekdays, with a 30-minute daily maintenance break.

Commenting on the launch, Aggelos Armenatzoglou, Head of Dealing at Deriv, said: “Traders have been saying the same thing for years. Coverage is too narrow and access is too tied to the clock. Our answer is to widen the opportunity set by offering extended trading hours for selected popular stocks. This enhancement allows clients across different time zones to participate in the market more flexibly, particularly enabling them to react to after-hours earnings announcements and other significant events that move prices outside of traditional trading sessions. With this release, we are integrating broader stock access and around-the-clock trading flexibility into the familiar MT5 experience. By extending trading hours, our clients gain the ability to take positions at times that suit them best, rather than being limited to standard market hours.

Extended hours trading for US stock CFDs

The expansion reflects Deriv’s future-forward strategy to broaden market access without adding complexity. On Deriv MT5, clients benefit from advanced charting, fast execution, comprehensive order types, and multilingual support, enabling a seamless way to research and trade an expanded universe of stock CFDs from a single account.

Pricing and account structures remain unchanged for the new instruments.

Aggelos adds, “We’re building for what comes next. More markets, more hours, and more ways to participate, so traders can pursue opportunities on their own terms.
