How do I copy a trader?

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Discover and search for a trader you want to copy.
  2. Select your preferred trader and tap Copy.
  3. Choose your trade size based on:
    • Proportional by equity: Adjusts trade size proportionally to your account balance.
    • Mirror master size: Matches trade size of the strategy provider.
    • Fixed size: Uses a fixed trade size for all copied trades.
  4. Optional:
    • Select "Round up to minimum trade size" to ensure no trades are missed.
    • Select "Copy existing trades" to copy any open trades.
  5. To confirm, select "Agree and Copy".
  6. Next, agree to the Social Trading Authorisation and Subscription Terms (STAST).
  7. Press OK to complete the setup, or select "Max drawdown" to set auto-stopping conditions.

What happens if I stop copying a trader?

You’ll no longer copy new trades from that trader, but existing copied trades will remain open unless you close them manually.

  4. Confirm by tapping Agree and Update.

When is a performance fee charged?

Performance fees are processed at the beginning of each month based on your Broker's preferred interval which can be daily, weekly, or monthly.

Why can't I connect my account?

Make sure to:

  1. Use your trading password.
  2. Enter correct Deriv MT5 details.  
    • Click Open next to your MT5 account on Trader's Hub to get the info.
    • For "Account number", use your Deriv MT5 login ID.
  3. If you have a strategy provider account, close all open trades in your existing linked account before connecting a new one.
